Neal, By chance are you using the enter key during your editing?
That triggers the full transactiion calculatkions. Use arrow keys, ta b key or mouse buttons until you are ready to see the transaction calculation. I think calculztions within individual amount fields happen as soon as you move out of that field unless you are creating a scheduled transaaction.
