I know, dead horse, but still, this is a reason to start looking at the "Rules of Robotics" and implement them now at the bare metal level if possible. It would thwart malware (well, we can hope).

Rex, the scary part about AI is that nobody programmed it to respond that
way-it learned how to do so on its own. That's an important difference: it
was taught to learn, and it learned to do this.
