I've gotten it all settled, but am still waiting for a PTR record for our mail server to propagate through the internet. The issue is that IMail will deliver the same message multiple times, sometimes upwards of 30 or so. Here is a copy of one of the messages. It sends all of the data, but then receives the Blocking Call Cancelled error, which according to IPSwitch, is because the receiving server can't do a reverse lookup on our IP. The status is given as 3, a failure. However the message DOES get delivered to the recipient. But then the next time the smtp task goes through the queue, it sends the message again, successfully, even with the status code being 3. I have to physically go in and delete the SMD files for it to stop sending over and over again to the recipient.. It shouldn't be more than another day before the PTR record takes everywhere, but is there any reason for this to happen? Thanks!
