I had confused mgeups and mgeops. I downloaded the source rpm and ran the command script -c "rpmbuild --rebuild /tmp/mgeops-psp-3.0.6-2.src.rpm" /tmp/rpmbuild.log You will find the result at http://rogerprice.org/mgeops-psp-3.0.6/rpmbuild.log It ends with: > checking for NUT... configure: error: Package requirements (libupsclient > >= 2.0.0) were not met: > No package 'libupsclient' found > Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you > installed software in a non-standard prefix. > Alternatively, you may set the environment variables NUT_CFLAGS > and NUT_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. > See the pkg-config man page for more details.
