When you load your state inside the regular ParaView (Qt client), do you see something ?
If your state use a file, and if that file do not have the same path between the computer where the state has been generated and the server, you will need to update the path and make sure that the file is available on the server. This "state update" is dynamically possible with the PWStates application. If you edit your application, you are able to change the path of the state file, although you still need to have that data file on the server.
