Ken, thanks for this idea about delayed ParaView start and about RDP issues. Actually, I use FreeRDP 1.0.2 on CentOS 6.5 laptop, I don't know should it work with "real" OpenGL or with "fake" OpenGL. There are also some Citrix services on remote machine (CtxSvcHost, CitrixCseEngine e.t.c.), maybe it affects RDP function someway...
