My sister lives in Collinsville, North of Dallas. I'll be staying with her,

I'll likely couch surf with friends in Albaquerque, it's about halfway. My
most Banzai trip was Austin to San Francisco, solo, in 24 hours. Leaving
Austin at midnight and napping in rest stops on the way.

You should plan on getting there very early. For the last eclipse, I scoped
out a place a couple days ahead, and it was jam packed and had to find another.
