LOCATION: CONNECTICUT DURATION: 6 MONTHS job specs: They are moving an existing PowerBuilder workflow system over to Pegasystems PRPC 5.5. The initial project is to extract business rules from the existing application and to create a strategy and design around bringing the functionality into Pega. With that said, I would be looking for a developer with experience in PRPC v5.5, heavy Java development experience, XML, and at least 4+ years of Pega knowledge. They have to be able to think about design and then implementation. If they have experience in converting a customers existing application to Pega, that would be great. Also, these are a couple of other pluses that would be helpful: experience with upgrading older versions of Pega to 5.5 (like 5.1 to 5.5), some leadership/management experience with offshore developers.
