We need to do away with that terminology because it doesn't make any
sense with how websites are implemented since the last few years, you
can safely ignore those terms when you come across it, in the meantime
I'll try to weed them out :)

… and a more intuitive, less error-prone means for editing, that is
consistent across the media, ideally.

I'm not sure I understand this split between frontend and backend. 

For too long we've had (at least) 3 separate web facing systems: static
site, wiki, conference management system (penta, summit, wafer(?)). The
topics listed in 2. apply to each at least to some degree. Some of us,
myself included, would like to see the 3 systems integrated as much as
possible with a unified look/feel/user experience and minimised
duplication of data, content and effort.

Perhaps we can call it a web presence meeting?

Hi all

Following on from last week's meetings [1]:

There's three meetings that's supposed to happen this week. Can the
people indicated (or if you feel you need to be indicated) please let
me know 1) if these are scheduled already (and reply all with when),
2) if not, if you would like me to schedule it (and if so, the
relevant people to please tell me their constraints) and 3) if you
need anything from anyone that we should go poke on your behalf.

(side note, how does one indent and number properly for the peeps who
read email in terminal?)

* 1. Weekly orga meeting - Stefano, has the dudle given a time yet?

* 2. Website meeting - Tammy, Raoul, Simon
Agenda:

to do here? I don't think we have team leads to do this yet, I think
we just work off DC15 and Nicaragua numbers, IMHO.

** "  I can submit a mail weekly to the ML with outstanding items?"

Assuming fixed font width and else just writing Markdown (or similar)
works very well, in my experience.

WIth infra hat on: It's too early to make a hard commitment; at the
very least, information about local infrastructure will be needed.
Also, I fear we will have increased shipping costs _and_ pay more when
buying cables etc locally.

A placeholder amount of $ 5,000 should be enough in any case, but I am
not sure how happy you will be with that...
