Bug#678437: Still valid
This bug is nine years old, but still valid in Debian Buster.
Bug#860763: workaround?
So from what I understand by reading this bugreport is that there is a workaround by removing the memory rule in /etc/ImageMagick-6/policy.xml - but this file might be overwritten by an security upgrade, right?
Bug#955381: qfitsview: Unuseable with dark color-themes
Package: qfitsview Version: 3.3+p1+dfsg-2+b1 Severity: minor Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, I am using the qfitsview package within the KDE desktop environment. There I have selected the "Breeze Dark" theme in "System Settings" under the "Colours" pane. With this setting it is impossible to get a good view of the spectrum in the application, since it is now drawn as a black line in front of a dark background. Also some of the icons in the toolbar are now very hard to read. It appears there is no option within the software to change internal colours or icons. For now I have found the following workaround with using the qt5ct package. In qt5ct I change the settings to a light colour-scheme (e.g. airy), and then I created an alias alias QFitsView='env QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct QFitsView' Of course, the compatibility with dark qt5 colour themes is something that, in one way or another, is something that should be addressed upstream. But maybe something like my workaround is possible within the package to ensure that users with a dark desktop theme do not end up with a broken QFitsView? Bug#896844: Any Updates?
I just installed Debian 10 and I found that preview-latex is not working. Preview-latex is one of the big features of this package. Any chance this bug can be fixed? As a workaround one can remove the debian package and install the latest auctex version from elpa. However, note that the latest version needs some adjustments to work with ghostscript 9.27, which is shipped in debian. This is all a mess, and honestly, a dissapointment to find this wonderfull package being shipped in such a unusable state in debian. -- Edmund Christian Herenz (ESO Fellow) Office: M152 ESO Vitacura Email: eher...@eso.org Alonso de Córdova 3107 Phone: +56 2 2463 3047 (Office) Vitacura, Casilla 19001 +56 9 4613 7517 (Mobile) Santiago de Chile, Chile WWW:http://www.sc.eso.org/~eherenz/
Bug#528513: 4.12 in stretch - still there
I just want to report that this bug still appears valid in 4.12.1 as found in stretch. My impression is that only shortcuts involving the key are affected. In particular I have set Ctrl+Super+Up/Down/Left/Right as Shortcut for Upper/Bottom/Left/Right Workspace . I made the following observation: Pressing accidentally Fn+Ctrl+Left/Right/Up/Down deletes only the Ctrl+Super+Left/Up functions.
