Ideally it is the first version which stopped shipping the German man pages. Maybe you can browse your git history? It's good for partial upgrades, though in the end I simply accept what you will choose. > > I intend to upload around March 23 and I will provide a backport to > > stable (without these translations, of course). > > OK. Well, this would be a good idea, to choose roughly the same day, to avoid uninstallable situations for people living on unstable or testing. I'm intending to prepare the next upstream release (and then immediately the Debian release) on 2024-03-23. If this is inconvenient for you, we can wait until April. I simply keep the German man pages in deletion (as I did with previous versions) and then I release -2 on a date more convenient to you (and then ship the German man pages). OK. You titled the bug "coordinate uploads ...". Do we need to do them together - on the same day or something? Regards, -Steve signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Package: ghostscript Version: 10.0.0~dfsg-11+deb12u3 Severity: normal Hello Steve, ghostscript used to contain German man pages, however, they were not properly maintained. As detailed in [1] ghostscript removed the German man pages from its git repository on January 4th 2023. So the files are gone since Version 10.01.0rc1. I imported them into manpages-de and will start shipping them with the next release. As per transition rules [2] you will need to add Breaks: manpages-l10n (<4.22) in your debian/control. I will then add Breaks: ghostscript (
