Bug#890646: python3-postgresql: Connect to postgresql-Database Version 10 (buster) fails with an python error

2018-02-16 Thread Marten KARL
Package: python3-postgresql
Version: 1.1.0-2+b4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Split of Versionstring fails:
  db = postgresql.open(database='marten',host='10.8.2.1',port=5431)
  # postgresql-v10 runs on port 5431 on that machine
  ->
  File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/postgresql/versionstring.py", line 28,
in
vlist = [int(x or '0') for x in v[:-1]]
ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '2 (Debian 10'

My solution:
Changed line from
v = vstr.strip().split('.')
to
v = vstr.strip().split(' ')[0].split('.')

Tests with that changed file run well with different databases on postgresql
v9.4, v9.6 and 10.2
on my systems.

Are you sure it's not available?

The announce is

(the version used in the announce misses the epoch)

The version I used for fixing the bug is the one Robert has uploaded.

Could you help with a patch for this, or mention some other source that
needed to do the same changes?

Bug#890578: python-coverage: Incomplete debian/copyright?

On 16-Feb-2018, Chris Lamb wrote:

The jQuery bundled copy is explicitly removed during the source
re-pack. Is there still jQuery code somewhere in the Debian source
package, that I'm not seeing?

I assume, in the rest of my reply, that you're not actually talking
about jQuery code.

The source does include these bundled library files, with names that
confusingly have ‘jquery’ in the name:

* jquery.hotkeys.js
* jquery.isonscreen.js

The copyright information for those is not recorded in the Debian
source package, so I am confirming this bug report.

> (This is not exhaustive so please check over the entire package
> carefully and address these on your next upload.)

I have looked through the source package, and AFAICT the above files
are the only ones not covered by the existing copyright documentation
in ‘debian/copyright’.

Those files mentioned above, are also not used. They have no DFSG
problems so I just left them in the source package. That is a mistake,
and this bug report remains valid.

To make the copyright information accurate for the source package, my
current preference is to just remove those unused from the Debian
source package. This would change the basis for re-packing, because
for these files it's not to avoid DFSG problems, but only to avoid
bothering to document copyright information for files we don't use. Is
that appropriate?

An alternative would be justified by seeking to minimise the changes
to the pristine source. This argues to leave those files – though they
are not used in building the package – in the Debian source package,
and document the different copyright information.

Which is a better resolution?

Bazėje nurodoma ir apyvarta, darbuotojų atlyginimai, darbuotojų skaičius,
transporto skaičius ir daug kitų duomenų, kuriuos matysite pavyzdyje.

Duomenis galima filtruoti pagal veiklas, miestus ir kitus duomenis.

Šią bazę verta turėti visoms įmonėms. Pateiksiu priežastis:

1) Kontaktai pateikti bazėje direktorių ir kitų atsakingų asmenų, didelė
tikimybė Jums surasti naujų klientų, partnerių, tiekėjų, kai tiesiogiai
bendrausite su direktoriais, komercijos vadovais.

2) Konkurentų analizavimas, tiekėjų atsirinkimas pagal Jums reikalingus
kriterijus, galite atsifiltruoti pagal įmonės dydį, bazėje nurodoma kiek įmonės
skolingos Sodrai.

debdiff of the uploaded NMU attached (includes all the stuff that is in git
since previous uploads, not just my changes); merge request also created on
salsa, since that's probably much more convenient than the debdiff to get a
nice history.

One or more binary packages built from this source depends on or
recommends python-imaging, which is obsolete for some years now.
Please build the source using the python-pil package. If your
package doesn't need to be built with Python2, please consider using
Python3 and depend on python3-pil.

Planning to remove python-imaging for the buster release, so the

Bug#743151: Direktoriaus kontaktai - tai Jūsų klientas

2018-02-16 Thread Gautas pranešimas
Laba diena,

Bug#890617: pyscrabble: No metaservers available and pyscrabble-server also doesn't work

2018-02-16 Thread Pelle Hjek
Package: pyscrabble
Version: 1.6.2-10
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

When opening PyScrabble, users are asked to "register on a public server",
however none are available, and the game is not playable without connecting to
a server.

It is possible to run the pyscrabble-server package, but this comes with no
documentation describing how to register. The server listens on port and
, and when navigating to http://localhost: with a web browser, I'm
presented with a web interface to the server.

This web interface does not provide the option of registering either, but
running `dpkg -L pyscrabble-server` indicates that there's an endpoint called
`user_admin`. When navigating to `http://localhost:/user_admin`, I get the
following error in the browser:

```
: tuple index out of range
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/twisted/internet/defer.py, line 150 in
maybeDeferred
149try:
150result = f(*args, **kw)
151except:
/usr/share/games/pyscrabble/python/pyscrabble/net/site.py, line 71 in
70if (segments[0] == 'user_admin'):
71return UserAdmin(original=segments[1], ctx=ctx,
factory=self.factory), segments[2:]
72if (segments[0] == 'xmlrpc'):
: tuple index out of range
```

To me it looks like pyscrabble-server is broken, which makes PyScrabble
unusable.

Package: ruby-eventmachine
Severity: serious
Justification: MIA request

Dear Ruby-Extras Team,

During housekeeping work for the MIA team I came accross this package.
It made me wonder whether it still maintained by the team, as there is
an unreplied-to (RC) bug since more than 1/2 year and there is a new
upstream version waiting since 6 Aug 2015 (release date of the next
version upstream)

Also, from the 5 listed maintainers, two have asked to be removed, one
maintainers has his last upload 2014, another one Dec 2016...

If your team still maintains this package, please close this bug.
Otherwise I will orphan the package in exactly 3 months.

Hi Tobias,

thanks for your concern. As so often, the ruby-team is somewhat
understaffed with active maintainers.

Newer upstream versions of ruby-eventmachine segfault, see upstream

The other open rc-bug is trivial to fix and while it's technically

Dear Maintainer,

'dub build' and similar operations result in a segmentation fault when searching
for dependencies, making the package unusable for building projects. More

it seems this issue only affects Debian.

Package: chaosreader

Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When running chaosreader over a minimal system, the following message is shown:

Can't locate Net/DNS/Packet.pm in @INC (you may need to install the
Net::DNS::Packet module) (@INC contains: /etc/perl
/usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.26.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.26.1

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl-base) at /usr/bin/chaosreader line 335.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/chaosreader line 335.

This issue can be solved adding libnet-dns-perl as install dependency.

I will fix the package soon.

There are similar FTBFS in some b-rdeps.

This is a recent regression, I'd suspect some changes related to ruby 2.3 ->
2.5.

Bug#890589: chaosreader: Can't locate Net/DNS/Packet.pm

2018-02-16 Thread Joao Eriberto Mota Filho
Package: chaosreader
Version: 0.96-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When running chaosreader over a minimal system, the following message is shown:

Can't locate Net/DNS/Packet.pm in @INC (you may need to install the
Net::DNS::Packet module) (@INC contains: /etc/perl
/usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.26.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.26.1

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl-base) at /usr/bin/chaosreader line 335.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/chaosreader line 335.

This issue can be solved adding libnet-dns-perl as install dependency.

I will fix the package soon.

Bug#864657: ca-certificates-java has circular Depends on openjdk-8-jre-headless

2018-02-16 Thread Peter Zumtobel
Hey there,

this bug hit me during building of a Debian stretch image for an embedded armhf
device using ELBE [1].

It should be mentioned, that this could be worked around by using the
default-jre package instead of the
openjdk8-jre package, which I used at first.

Hi,

The latest upload is causing test failures in (for example) diffoscope:

https://jenkins.debian.net/job/reproducible_diffoscope_from_git_master/439/consoleFull

In particular:

  ERROR: Failed to generate report: Couldn't find static file 'pyfile.html'
from '/tmp/testrun/.pybuild/pythonX.Y_3.6/build', tried:
['/usr/share/javascript/pyfile.html',

This is due to:

  $ dpkg -L python3-coverage | grep /coverage/htmlfiles
  /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/dist-packages/coverage/htmlfiles
   ^^^

Patch attached.
