Title:
  Duplicated icon when application started

Status in GNOME Shell:
  Unknown
Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock 0.7

I added to the dock an application (an Eclipse-based IDE from IBM called
Rational Application Develper)
  .desktop file attached.

When clicking on the icon, a new icon is created as long as the application
is running.
The icon disappears when I close the application

I think that the problems is that the launcher spawns another process,
(attached the ps -uf relevand part)

They come every time I open the laptop lid (of course after having closed it,
  no matter for how long)
  1) the first bulk of keypresses lag some seconds (no matter when I hit the
keys, it can also be 1 minute after I opened the lid) then the keyboard goes

Hi back, I managed to remove the automatic sleep changing the dconf keys to
blank instead of suspend.
The bug is still present!

I'll attach the requested files

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 850626] [NEW] Connected to home wifi, but can't transfer data

2011-09-15 Thread Nicolò Chieffo
Public bug reported:

It might happend that even if the wifi is correctly connected to my home
router, it can't transfer any data, either to/from internet, but also
to/from the router or other devices connected to the home network.

Usually a workaroud is to disable wireless from the network-manager
menu, and re-enable it, until you get a good connection.

In the attached logfiles I had a bad connection.

ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10
Package: network-manager 0.9.0-0ubuntu3
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-11.18-generic 3.0.4
Uname: Linux 3.0.0-11-generic x86_64

NetworkManager.state:
