shouldn't want to change the data (other than by changing the data that
makes it up). For example, "Last Reconciliation Date" (or whatever it's
actually called) shows when you last reconciled an account. It changes when
you reconcile an account.

I don't know of any way to rename the columns, but they are pretty clear to
me.

Nearly all of the columns just summarize information that is sourced from
other parts of the Database. Several show information that comes from the
Account editor, so that information can be edited there. If you have a
question about certain columns, ask the question here. Many of us are glad
to help.

No there is not an easy way to rename them. If it is a translation
issue, consider looking into how to go about suggesting an improvement.

Otherwise, you'd have to change the label(s) in the source and build it
yourself.

 HI Jose,

Welcome to Gnucash and the list.

There are a load of other columns you can display on the Chart of Accounts
page.

If you look at the very right hand end of the columns titles row, there should
be a downward pointing arrow. Click on it!

HTH,
Maf.

Hi,

Welcome to GnuCash!

You can add columns to the Chart of Accounts by clicking the triangle at the
upper right corner of the accounts page.

[GNC] Columns

2023-10-08 Thread Jose Fuenzalida
Hi , my name is Jose and I stared using Gnucash about a month ago and I have
a question : is there any way to add more columns to the Account page? I
mean it has only 3 columns : Account name, Description and total. I
understand that if it is possible it may affect others part of the program
as for example giving totals ,etc. but I only want to add just sort of inert
info nothing to affect everything else so it would only be visible on the
Accounts page .

Thank you for your help
