[efloraofindia:464588] Acanthophippium (Orchidaceae) page with comparative images

2024-04-27 Thread J.M. Garg
Dear members,

Pl. go through‎ *Acanthophippium
* (*Orchidaceae*) page
with comparative images of species in efloraofindia. On clicking the link
of species, one can check the complete details.

I request you to pl. go through & point out mistakes, if any. I hope this
will aid in identification in future. If anybody can send images of other
species of this genus (for incorporation in the website), if any, or can
identify unidentified images, it will be really nice. Pl. circulate it
widely, for the benefit of all concerned.
Thanks a lot, Pankaj Kumar ji, for most of the identifications.

Re: [efloraofindia:464586] Regarding the ID of Wild Fabaceae Species from Mandi, H.P.

2024-04-27 Thread Nishant Chauhan
Respected members,

The flower characteristics bear some resemblance to the Cajanus genus.
Therefore, I checked the earlier discussion regarding the Cajanus genus on
the efloraofIndia website. The resemblance is close to the species *Cajanus
mollis*. Kindly validate the ID.

Best regards,
Nishant Chauhan

I think all identification is correct.
I do not have any other species but there should be Acampe joiceyana from
Northeast then the list for India would be complete.

[efloraofindia:464582] Fabaceae Genus

2024-04-27 Thread Saroj Kasaju
Dear Mr. garg

Many genuses are not included in the Family Fabaceae page.
It is time consuming to browse individual genuses which are not
included in the list.

Is there any plan to include all genuses in the main page ?
Thank you.

 it
could be a valuable exotic plant. I tasted the leaves and found they
 have a
slight mucilaginous texture very different from that of ordinary
 salads
