I would like the ability to round the display of numbers in a text box. For
example:

INPUT

[GYRO1:Mean(X4)]
[=ROUND([GYRO1:Mean(X4)],0)]
[=ROUND([GYRO1:Mean(X4)],1)]
[=ROUND([GYRO1:Mean(X4)],-1)]
[=ROUND([GYRO1:Mean(X4)],-4)]

OUTPUT
---
1234.567
1235
1234.6
1230
0

I'm not sure what the appropriate output to [=ROUND([GYRO1:Mean(X4)],5)] is?
Should it be 1234.567 OR 1234.56700?

Alternatively, the LaTeX library /nprounddigits could be implemented. For
example:

INPUT

[GYRO1:Mean(X4)]
\nprounddigits{1}
[GYRO1:Mean(X4)]

OUTPUT

1234.567
1234.6

clicking it

1. Install Application
2. Run the tray applet
3. Missing icon in system tray

Actual Results:  
Missing icon in system tray

Expected Results:  
icon is in the system tray

xembedsniproxy is not running at all, ruled that out in #kde-devel with bshah
on Aug 21st 2016.

Relevant note - the middle display that acted weird mostly was set to be the
primary display as well.  Prior, it acted like the task bar was polarized to
pretty much anything *but* it, but really odd disconnecting that one caused the
most odd effect, possibly due to being set as the primary.

I get lots of really odd compositing issues, mostly due to being a gigantic
framebuffer some video cards seem to not handle well ala 11520x2160.  I suspect
at times gpu processing contributes to weirdness, but not sure the graphic
diversity of the folks developing the platforms on.  I'm using AMD.

Previews are displayed only for cbz files, even though there is support for cbr
comic books (which are rar files) on the system.

Expected Results:  
Previews should work for all filetypes recognized as comic books by
Dolphin/Plasma and which are supported by the system.

Running 5.7.2+p16.04+git* as of last night seems to be far better behaved,
putting windows back after shutting down my tv/displays, as well as
hard-disconnecting each.

Oddly though, I got weirdness when I was disconnecting each display in a test. 
Went sort of like this:

1) Disconnected far right display, port 0
  - display removed, migrated windows and desktop to adjacent displays
normally, worked as expected.
2) Disconnected middle display, port 1
  - Display removed, migrated windows, but wallpaper went blank on one of the
two remaining displays, and kwin seemed to fall out of compositing mode with
cairo-dock showing banded lines as a sign of compositing being off/broken. 
Plugged it back in, and it moved everything back with full wallpapers normally
as I would expect.
3) Disconnected Left display, port 2
  - Display removed, migrated windows and desktop to adjacent displays, behaved
normally.
4) Disconnected Left display, port 2 again, was going to test removing
multiples
  - Display removed and all screens went blank, none initializing and displays
showing no connected input sources.  Reconnected port 2, and all displays came
back.

Needless to say, it *sort of* works, but inconsistent.  Definitely an
improvement, but still seems to leave something to be desired.

Running 5.7.2+p16.04+git* in neon unstable ppa as of last night seems to be far
more behaved in use today, putting the task bar where I want it, and not
crashing oddly when I switch desktops with a mouse scrolls.  Disconnecting each
display at the video card mostly worked, putting the taskbar and other windows
back after, but with some anomalies with losing wallpaper and compositing. 
Fodder for another bug report.

Thanks for work on stabilizing this, very much appreciated!

More grumbling, but the odd thing for me was installing the ppa for unstable
neon to fix my multi-monitor issues, and noticed dolphin just began annoyingly
resorting to single-click behaviour.  I couldn't influence this from where I
found it prior, so thought this a bug.  

Migrating to a global level configuration as a system setting might be ok, but
to me it is relevant only to Dolphin as my file manager of choice, and suddenly
changed/gone from what it was prior, created quite a bit of usability issues
for me.

Graceful changes would be appreciated.

Oh hell, it's been a while since I've had to look at input settings, I never
thought to look for it there.  I didn't realize it moved there, and apparently
not the only one.  Thank you, as I found the setting there and fixed this.

That single or double click behaviour being moved to a more global thing is a
bit odd, I didn't even think to look for it at an input level, rather poking
and prodding at dolphin directly.  UI Dev's for Dolphin this might want to
suggest/link to that in input settings at very least, and/or just influence the
setting directly from dolphin again, this has been really annoying me until now
under neon from 5.5 in ubuntu 16.04.

This bug confused me for a while.

I place a vote on this issue. Right now, I don't need to pick colors outside
sRGB color gamut. But, the first rec.2020-capable monitors are entering the
market in 2016. In about 5 years, it may become really important to pick a
color in rec.2020 color space or any wide-gamut color space.

Is there any plan to make it an option to vote on this issue in a new
kickstarter campaign?

Dolphin 16.08.0 can copy files from Nexus 7 2013 device, but can't paste files
onto it.

1. Open your home folder and copy a file 
2. Try to paste it to a Nexus 7 2013 device via USB (mtp mode)

The "paste"  entry in the context menu is greyed-out. 

Gmtp, a third-party application, sends files to the tablet via USB without any
problems. KDE Connect isn't an option when the files are too big or the devices
aren't connect to local network.

The fix was specific to categories having an opening date.  You may still have
other accounts with problem dates, I'm afraid.

Hi again Boudewijn,

It looks as if I've found what is the problem. It's actually the KDE
Compositor. When I set it to OpenGl 3.1, Krita's brush starts lagging a little
bit. When I set it back to OpenGl 2.0, everything works just fine. Actually, I
noticed some strange things using VLC with OpenGl 3.1, so I decided to change
the Compositor, so I thought may be it would also solve my problem with Krita.
It did. 
Well, sorry for bothering! And thank you! Problem solved!

When selecting multiple clips to stabilize, the dialog about vidstab parameters
proposes a dialog containing the target directory to be set. It default to the
dir where the videos are.
If that directory is changed, it still does not respect the settings and will
try to write the stabilized videos in the directory where the originals are.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import a few clips, all stored in /dir/A/
2. In the 'Project Bin', select all these clips, and do 'Clip Jobs' ->
'Stabilize'
3. In the top-most text input, set the target dir to /dir/B/

Notice once stabilized that all results have been written in /dir/A/.
I have /dir/A/ on a read-only device (so I do not delete my original material
:-) so it fails.

Actual Results:  
Stabilized video files (.mlt and .mlt.trf) are in the same dir as the video to
be stabilized.

Expected Results:  
Stabilized video files (.mlt and .mlt.trf) should be in the dir specified in
the 

Note that this is for Kdenlive 16.08 but the bug tracker does not let me select
this version yet.

Same problem here, bug confirmed for digikam 5.1.: Open Street Map (Marble)
Drag works, while with Google it is not possible. It used to work pre
digikam 5.0. 

Workaround for placing cursors on Google Maps: Copy coordinate to image and
move the pin around.

Redshift is a popular app to manage the screen colour temperature. By default
it has a gtk interface called redshift-gtk.

I'm the developer of the plasmoid "redshift plasmoid" which is a plasmoid that
aim to provide a native kde interface to redshift. I would to ask if you can
design the icons of redshift in breeze style.

The redshift package comes with the following icons:

My plasmoid requires also the icon:

Anyone finding this , the following script converts a .k3b saved MP3 CD image
file to an Inkscape compatible .svg file for printing.  A bit of SVG hacking is
required to tune the output.
You might want to fiddle the image size, I print smaller than CD size for
insert slips in a CD case.
Also might provide some hints for how to easily implement this feature in K3B.

Save as  k3btosvg.sh  in a ~/bin directory.

with the advanced tab in the icon kcm you can change the default size of icons
and how the hover effect, ... should look like.

The problem is, that more than 50% of the functionality didn't work.

e.g. at toolbar you can't change the default height, at main tollbar and small
icons it will change.

In general it would be very nice to change the height of the default toolbar
icons but do the user really edit the hover effect. The color of icons were now
changed by the color kcm, ...

don't ship broken stuff. so fix it or remove it.

You presume correctly. You may also presume, that building with Qt 5.7.0 with
USE=-debug, fixes the issue! I am able launch kcm_sddm without any issues in

Hello,

I have recently bought a XP Pen tablet series Star 03.
With the driver that came with it, everything worked fine, except the driver
crashed several times. So I downloaded the most recent driver from the website
and installed it. I configured everything the same, But with the new driver, I
don't see my cursor moving over the canvas anymore, unless I draw. Which is
quite annoying not to see where my pen is going to hit. Everything outside the
canvas area works perfectly fine. Other programs such as Paint Tool SAI and
Photoshop don't display any problems. I didn't have any problems with my
previous tablet, a Wacom Bamboo, too. Neither do I have any problems with
normal mouse usage.
All tickets I could find relating to this topic were signed as fixed, but I
have this problem right now on my Windows 7 (64-Bit) system so I thought I'd
report it. I have the normal Krita Gemini release from Steam, which should be
3.0 without the Lifetime Updates. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Krita Gemini
2. Move tablet pen to canvas

Actual Results:  
Cursor only moves when I draw.

Expected Results:  
Cursor freely moves over the canvas before I draw.

Running on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition SP1, 64-Bit. 
Initial driver for XP Pen Star 03 worked as expected, new driver caused the
error to appear. (Driver had been reinstalled correctly, no problems with other
programs such as SAI or Photoshop)

I have a nfs mount in my home directory that is periodically unavailable. When
the mount is unavailable, trying to open the launcher by clicking the button on
the panel yields an unresponsive outline of the launcher that persists for a
while before timing out. At no point can I actually click on any items in the
launcher. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a nfs mount in home directory and mount the remote nfs folder 
2. Bring down all network interfaces so that the mount is unusable
3. Click on the launcher button to open it

Actual Results:  
Unresponsive outline of the launcher shows up

Expected Results:  
Launcher shows up immediately

Hello,

Devices in left panel are not sorted. The order change each time Dolphin is
opened. I think they should be alphabetically sorted to have a more consistent
behaviour.

I'm porting KDE using MSYS2 (native building using mingw-w64).
Instead of Emerge I've created PKGBUILD's (just like on Arch Linux) to build
the stuff. KDE Framework apps are also affected.

For an example kiconfinder5 from the KIconThemes is a small app (easier to work
with) that is affected by this issue. It only hangs when arguments are
provided, I did a small debugging and found out that it freezes when "return 0"
or "return 1" is called. That led me to think it must be problem with resource
freeing.
More specifically if "const QString icon = KIconLoader::global()" is called the
process will hang on return.

I was trying out making custom brushes and testing them out on the testing
area. 
While doing so I accidentally pressed the buttons that are on the tablet pen.
These buttons are bound with Right- and Middle Click respectively. While
holding either of the pen buttons down and simultaneously pressing the pen tip
onto the tablet surface to draw, Krita won't draw anything onto the testing
area, and won't do so until the software has been restarted. 

This means I have to restart Krita in order to try the brushes I'm customising,
at least on the testing in the brush editor.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bind tablet pen button(s) with either Right- or Middle Click
2. In Krita, open "Edit brush settings"
3. While drawing onto the testing area, hold down the tablet pen button


Actual Results:  
I'm now unable to draw onto the "area" until Krita has been restarted.

Expected Results:  
Krita should've been drawing onto the testing area.

Changing your desktop layout to "folder view" is not preserve after logging out

After recovering a file (named .krita-8841-document_0-autosave.kra in my case)
Krita doesn't react any longer (i.e. most menu items are greyed out, tools

When I set my system for UTC Hardware clock as YaST time settings suggest (See
YaST screenshot), digiKam at importing process rename my pictures & videos with
a time difference about my real time zone (See the digikam importing
screenshot). The photograph properties show a real creation date from my
camera, but digiKam show and rename my pictures in this case with the UTC time
zone.

The problem only solves temporarily, when I uncheck the UTC hardware clock
option in YaST. But I like mantain enabled this option and without this bug at
impoort and renaming in digiKam.
