[LincolnTalk] ISO: Contractor(s) Recommendation for historic home - clapboard, windows, and insulation

2024-06-09 Thread Kim Jalet
Does anyone know a good place that can do clapboard restoration on an
historic home? They would also need to be knowledgeable about window
restoration and ways to properly insulate sections of an old home that are
not well insulated.

[LincolnTalk] Help Area Families with Children Experiencing Homelessness this Holiday Season

2023-11-04 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Lincoln Talk,

If you're seeking a meaningful way to contribute this holiday season,
consider a donation to assist families in our community who are
experiencing homelessness. This is my 10th year organizing a Holiday Drive
for Heading Home, an organization located in Boston dedicated to ending
homelessness. With an ever-increasing need due to the housing crisis,
rising costs, and growing numbers of migrants, your help is more crucial
than ever.

Heading Home encourages donors to contribute to online gift cards and
children’s books, allowing parents to select gifts that best suit the needs
of their children.

Giving online is easy! You have two options:

   - If you’d like to make a quick donation, simply go to our Somerville
   Moms and Beyond <https://www.justgiving.com/team/somervillemoms-beyond> page
and click “Donate to a team member” to make the donation in the amount that
   is right for you.
   - However, if you’d like to fundraise with your co-workers, friends,
and/or family, you can join our team and set up your own fundraising team.
Explicit directions for doing that are below.

Whatever you choose, please make your donation by November 30th.

Please also consider purchasing children's books for Heading Home through
wish lists at Amazon
<https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/12SXSNL0Z5AUV?ref_=wl_share> or Porter
Square Books <https://www.portersquarebooks.com/wishlist/2987> (PSB) by
November 20th. At PSB, you can use the code HEADINGHOME2023 for a 10%
discount. Amazon books will ship directly to me, and I will pick up books
from PSB. If you choose to buy from another vendor, please ship them to me
(email me for address). I will deliver all books to Heading Home.

To understand the leading role Heading Home plays in helping people get
back on their feet for the long-term, and for a chance to engage with the
development team, please sign up for a virtual presentation and Q session
via this Google form <https://forms.gle/bBzT9mDFxxqw71vg6>. I will
determine the most popular timeslot and send out an invite.

Please consider making the holidays a little brighter for individuals in
our community. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact
me, and if you give, please send me your email address (jale...@gmail.com)
so I can send an annual notification of the Drive.

Sincerely,

Kim Jalet (Brooks Rd.)

P.S. Please like our Facebook page
<https://www.facebook.com/somervillemomsheadinghomeholidaydrive/>.

P.P.S. A note about receipts for taxes. I will notify you when I receive
children’s books if you include a gift receipt with your name or email me
your confirmation. If you buy children’s books, at the end of the Drive, I
will send out an in-kind receipt for your tax records. If you donate via
the Heading Home website, you will get a donor receipt from them.

[LincolnTalk] Tomorrow - Last Day of Diaper Drive

2023-10-27 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Lincoln Talk:

Tomorrow is the last day of the Metro-Boston Diaper Drive (mbdiapers.org).
If you have loose diapers, you can drop them at my North Lincoln home
(email for my address) or at the bin in the Lincoln Library. You can also
make a donation to be delivered directly to WIC Somerville, which also
serves Lincoln, at our Amazon (https://amzn.to/48y09Cj) or Target (
https://bit.ly/3ZC9mFy) registries.

Thank you to those who have donated already! So far almost 30,000 diapers
have been collected, but according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, a
child will go through 8,000 diaper changes before potty training (3,000 in
the first year alone!), so many more are needed to help families receiving
WIC assistance.

Thank you,

[LincolnTalk] AD: House Cleaner Recommendation

2023-09-25 Thread Kim Jalet
In case anyone is looking for a cleaner, I’d like to recommend ours. Extreme
Cleaning is a small, woman-owned business. They are very thorough and
reliable, and they communicate well with us. When we were considering
moving from Somerville to Lincoln, we put the concern that they might not
come out to Lincoln as a con of moving, but happily they did, and we have
used them for the past 12 years. They are sweet with our child, love our
pets, and I trust them entirely! If I can provide any other information,
please feel free to ask me. You can reach the owner, Lucyana DaSilva at
617-838-6520.

[LincolnTalk] Ear Piercing for Child

Hi LT,

Does anyone have a recommendation for getting a 10 year old's ears
pierced? I think my preference would be without a gun and with a needle.

Any thoughts?

Hi Tom,

I recommend Colleen Katatsuki. Both my daughter and I (a novice) started
taking lessons with Colleen last fall, and we have both come so far in just
a year under her guidance. She meets students where they're at, and she is
patient and talented. Over the summer, my daughter willingly practiced
almost daily despite not having scheduled lessons. You can text her at

[LincolnTalk] Opened Dry Cat Food Royal Canin Urinary SO & Cat Treats

2023-09-14 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear LT,

Our kitty recently passed, and we had recently bought a bag of his Royal
Canin Urinary SO food. Since it's opened, we can't donate it to a shelter,
but this stuff is pricey, so if you have a cat on this diet and would like
the food please let me know. We are happy for the rest of it to get
eaten. We also have some opened cat treats (Temptations Seafood Medley).

Let me know if you're interested, and when you would be available for
pickup in North Lincoln.

[LincolnTalk] Short Poll to Help Student

For a project, my daughter is researching women in sports, specifically

whether or not you were ENCOURAGED to play sports and in what year you

the information will only be used in aggregate.

[LincolnTalk] ISO: House Sitter Mid-Jan

Hi LT,

We will be traveling in mid-January and would love to have someone stay
with our older cat at our house during this time. He doesn't have special
needs, but we'd prefer someone to be here more than just stopping in once

Ideally, we'd love to pay a commuting college student to have their own
place for about a week, but we would consider other people. If you know
someone, have them reach out.

[LincolnTalk] Help Area Families with Children Experiencing Homelessness this Holiday Season

2022-11-12 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear LT,

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season?
Consider donating so that a family in the Boston area experiencing
homelessness or transitioning from homelessness can buy gifts for their
family. This is my 9th year organizing a Holiday Drive for Heading Home, an
organization located in Boston dedicated to ending homelessness. With the
pandemic and soaring prices, the need is greater than ever.

Heading Home would like to give parents the dignity of choosing gifts for
their children and households. Therefore, there are three ways to provide
holiday cheer to families with children:

   1.

   Visit

https://www.headinghomeinc.org/take-action/volunteer/seasonal-opportunities/heading-home-for-the-holidays/
to access this year’s Heading Home for the Holidays options, including gift
card purchasing and holiday card-making. Please make your donation by
   December 4th.
   2.

Buy PHYSICAL Stop & Shop gift cards ONLINE in $25 increments OR Venmo
money to me (@jaletk) by November 19th. Please follow these buying
   directions

The Lexington Stop & Shop donates 5% of whatever we buy. I will deliver
all the cards to Heading Home.
   3.

Buy children's books by November 19th that I will deliver to Heading
Home via the wishlists at Amazon
   <https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/12SXSNL0Z5AUV?ref_=wl_share>
or Porter
   Square Books <https://www.portersquarebooks.com/wishlist/2605> (PSB).
Use the code HOME2022 at PSB to get 10% off of any of the books on the
Heading Home wishlist. Books will ship directly to me. If you choose to
buy from a different vendor, please ship them to me (19 Brooks Road,
   Lincoln, MA 01773).

Please consider making the holidays a little brighter for individuals in
our community. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact
me and if you do give, please send me your email address (jale...@gmail.com)
so I can send you a tax receipt and send an annual notification of the
Drive.

Sincerely,

Kim Jalet

P.S. For updates, follow us on Facebook at
https://www.facebook.com/somervillemomsheadinghomeholidaydrive.

P.P.S. A note about receipts for taxes. I will notify you when I receive
children’s books. If you buy Stop & Shop gift cards and/or children’s
books, at the end of the Drive, I will send out an in-kind receipt for your
tax records. If you donate via the Heading Home website, you will get a
donor receipt from them.

ABOUT HEADING HOME:

Heading Home is an impressive organization that considers the big picture
as they work to fulfill their mission to “end homelessness in Greater
Boston by providing a supported pathway to self-sufficiency that begins
with a home, together with critical services such as life skills, financial
literacy, and job training.”

According to their website, Heading Home “provides emergency, transitional
and permanent housing, and support services, to low-income homeless and
formerly homeless families and individuals in the communities of Boston,
Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Chelsea, Malden, Everett Lawrence, Revere,
and Quincy.”

Massachusetts is the third most expensive place to live in the country. To
afford a two-bedroom apartment, a parent must work 40 hours a week, 52
weeks a year, and make more than double the minimum wage. Yet, the average
household income of Heading Home clients is under $14,000 per year. Ninety
percent of their families are led by a single mother, and the average age
of a child in Heading Home programs is 8 years old. In fiscal year 2022,
Heading Home served 1,311 clients, 691 children, and helped people in 86
households move out of shelters. By providing both housing and services to
clients, 97% of households remained in permanent housing one year after
leaving a shelter.

[LincolnTalk] ISO: Vase Filler Marbles

2022-11-05 Thread Kim Jalet
Hi LT,

We are re-doing our 9-year-old's room and have a craft project for which I
will need a lot of vase filler marbles (the kind that are flat on one
side). Color does not matter, as they will be spray painted.

I know from my own craft projects that I often have supplies left over, so
I thought I'd ask if anyone had some lying around. Happy to pay, but I'd
rather not buy new.

Hi everyone,

We are having a Harry Potter-themed Halloween party for my HP-obsessed
9-year-old and some of her equally obsessed friends.

To that end, I would love to borrow the following items:

   1. An empty bird cage (we will be putting a stuffed owl inside)
   2. Fancy, but not valuable, candelabras to add Hogwarts atmosphere
   3. A light-up Christmas deer (to look like Harry Potter's patronus)
   4. Any fun Harry Potter stuff that you'd be willing to lend.

Thank you!

with outdoor hot tub, kitchen, lounge area with fireplace, dining area with
table and chairs, upstairs bedroom with 3 beds and a snowmobile. There are
about 5 non-essential pieces missing and a couple of pieces for which we
substituted a different color.
$55 Lego Friends Mia Snow Resort Ski Lift 41324 - With Manual: Build your
own Snow Resort Ski Life, featuring ski lift with winch function, ski slope
with slide function, mountaintop restaurant, and more. 1 piece missing, and
two pieces were substituted in a different color. No box. 1 minor piece
missing, and two pieces have substituted colors.
$35 LEGO Friends Beach House 41037 - With Manuel - missing wind surf board
and a few minor pieces: Two-story building features a terrace with
swiveling chairs, kitchen with a bar, jetty, outside stairs leading to the
upper floor. Also features a bedroom with TV, radio, bunk/sofa bed,

Re: [LincolnTalk] ALERT: COMPLETE OUTDOOR WATERING BAN

Can someone clarify what this means for those of us with vegetable
gardens? Also, I assume if we have annual flowers we are to let them die?

Thank you, Kim

[LincolnTalk] FS: Books for the Young Unicorn Lover

2022-06-20 Thread Kim Jalet
We are cleaning out my daughter's bookshelves to make room for a run to the
used book store to replenish for the summer. She has read, loved, and
outgrown the unicorn books below.

There are 6 series (in some cases she stopped reading before the series
ended, so we may not have the final book/s) and one first book in a series
for *a total of 58 books*. All books are in excellent-to-good used
condition, and almost all are paperback.

Where I could find them, I included the recommended grades and ages, but in
several cases my daughter read them a bit earlier than recommended, and I
can imagine an older child enjoying them for light reading, so it just
depends on your reader.

*Buy a series for the prices listed below or take all for $140. If you buy
them all, I'm willing to deliver anywhere in Lincoln this week. Otherwise,
pickup in North Lincoln.*

*Fairy Unicorns*, books 1-6 [recommended for ages 5-7] $15

*Fairy Ponies*, books 1-5 [recommended for ages 5-7] $13

*My Secret Unicorn* series, books 1-14 [recommended for grades 1-4, ages
6-8] $35

*Unicorn Academy*, books 1-16 (recommended for grades 1-4, ages 6-8) Note:
Some of these are the British version and have some British spellings. $40

*Unicorn Princesses*, books 1-10 [recommended for grades 3-4, ages 7-10] $25

*Unicorn Island*, hardcover book 1 [recommended for grades 4-6, ages 8-12]
$3

*Unicorn School*, books 1-6 [recommended for ages 8-12] $15

[LincolnTalk] Thank You SAGA for a Wonderful Pride Celebration

2022-06-08 Thread Kim Jalet
I just wanted to give a shout-out to SAGA, the Sexuality & Gender Alliance
at Lincoln Schools and their advisors for the wonderful Pride celebration
they hosted today. The students were so well-spoken, the guest speaker
from BAGLY (The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender
Youth) had a powerful story to tell, and the STEP team was very
entertaining.  It was clear how much care and thought went into everything;
the students and their advisors should be very proud!

It was also nice to see so many come out to be part of the Caregiver Wall
of Support and to see that the event was well-attended. My daughter and
her friend had a great time!

We look forward to this being an annual event in town.

Sincerely, Kim and Brian Jalet

[LincolnTalk] Update on Malagasy Boy Arrested for Stealing Food

2022-02-10 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Neighbors,

I got word today that, after being held since Sunday, the boy I wrote about
yesterday has been released. He has to appear again in court on 2/24 so
the judge can assess his progress, and then he will be monitored for 6
months. He has two adult sisters who will have to help more, but they are
both struggling too. Ony, my contact at Ankizy Gasy, has decided that they
will use the money sent from Lincoln to buy rice for the family on the
weekends for those six months to help ensure that the boy can stay out of
trouble. During the week, the boys will get food at school, which should
reopen soon. Ankizy Gasy feeds students at three schools. Any additional
funds will go to feed the many children they support who are currently in
crisis following the two devastating cyclones that hit the island.

My deepest gratitude to those who have already made a donation. If you
would still like to donate, the need is tremendous. The link is
https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=HLBH42YE64TV2. Donations
are in Euros, and are not tax deductible since it is not a US charity, but
I can personally vouch for the woman distributing the aid.

Warmly, Kim Jalet (Brooks Road)

[LincolnTalk] 13-Year-Old in Madagascar Arrested for Stealing Food after Devastating Cyclone

2022-02-09 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Neighbors,

In 2005, I had the privilege to teach for a month in Madagascar, and I met
a woman named Ony who now works for an NGO called Ankizy Gasy, fighting
hunger and illiteracy in Madagascar.

Since Madagascar rarely makes the news in the US, you may not know that
Madagascar has suffered two disastrous cyclones recently (see:
https://www.reuters.com/business/environment/madagascar-death-toll-cyclone-batsirai-rises-80-state-agency-2022-02-09/)
. Normally Ankizy Gasy feeds 440 children that the foundation helps
support with school fees and meals, plus children at 3 different schools
where they often receive their only full meal of the day. With schools
closed, Ankizy Gasy finds themselves trying to get food to the families of
these approximately 1000 children. Some families are coming to Ony’s
office to receive rice, and she and the foundation’s social worker are
traveling to the homes of farther flung families.

Yesterday, she learned that two of the children the foundation supports
were arrested, accused of stealing 18 kg. of rice and a cooking pot. One
of the children (pictured below) is 13 years old, an orphan, and has
siblings to help. Therefore, I feel compelled to write asking you to make
a donation in ANY amount. Even $5 will go a long way to helping feed these
children and their families at this very difficult time.

You can donate quickly at
https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=HLBH42YE64TV2 using PayPal
or a credit or debit card. Please be aware that this is an overseas NGO,
so your donation will not be tax deductible, and the amounts are in Euros (
xe.com is a handy conversion site).

I know we all have causes near and dear to our hearts, but if you can make
even a small donation to this worthy cause, I would be so grateful. Please
feel free to reach out with any questions.

Warmly, Kim

[LincolnTalk] Liver Anyone?

2022-01-18 Thread Kim Jalet
We have a kitty who is facing some health problems, so in an effort to give
him a bit of a treat, we bought some liver that he promptly turned his nose
up at. It’s an odd offer, I know, but it pains us for it to go to waste,
so if anyone would like it for their family, feline, canine, or human, we’d
be happy to pass it on. It’s beef liver bought this past weekend. Half is
frozen raw, and half is already fried. Available in North Lincoln.

[LincolnTalk] Still Time to Sign Up To Support a Family Experiencing Homelessness this Holiday Season

2021-11-03 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Families,

It’s not too late to help someone who is experiencing homelessness or
transitioning from homelessness this holiday season. There are still 40
families, clients of Heading Home, who need donors for full or partial
kits, and the Drive can fit into many budgets. Read below for more
information and send me an email if you would like to help someone in need
in the Boston area this year.

*ABOUT THE KITS:*

Donors can make a partial (or whole) Kit; an Amazon registry will be
available for easy shopping, but donors who would like other options can
still buy from their favorite retailer. Each Kit will include:

   - A $25 Stop & Shop gift card (directions for doing this so we can get
additional cards donated will be in the directions)
   - A bed-in-a-bag (contains comforter and sheet set) for the parent
   - A towel set
   - Gift(s) valued between $25 and $50 for each child in a family. You
will choose the size of the family, and I will provide suggestions via an
   Amazon registry.

If you’ve already signed up, thank you; if you haven’t there is still
time! The Heading Home Holiday Drive is a great opportunity to involve
your children in charitable giving, and I will make giving as easy as
possible.

Sincerely,

Kim Jalet (m.t. 8-y..o. Vivian)

*ABOUT HEADING HOME:*

Heading Home is an impressive organization that considers the big picture
as they work to fulfill their mission to “end homelessness in Greater
Boston by providing a supported pathway to self-sufficiency that begins
with a home, together with critical services such as life skills, financial
literacy, and job training.”

According to their website, Heading Home “provides emergency, transitional
and permanent housing, and support services, to low-income homeless and
formerly homeless families and individuals in the communities of Boston,
Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Malden, Everett and Quincy.”

To be able to afford a 2-bedroom apartment in the Greater Boston area,
families need to earn almost 3 times current minimum wage, yet the average
household income of clients is under $14,000 per year. Ninety-two percent
of their families are led by a single mother, and the average age of a
child in Heading Home programs is 9 years old. In fiscal year 2020,
Heading Home served 1,421 clients, 714 children, managed 159 moves out of
shelter, and had a 96% retention rate by providing both housing and
services to clients.

[LincolnTalk] Help Families with Children Experiencing Homelessness this Holiday Season

2021-10-26 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Families,

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season?
Consider buying holiday gifts for a family in the Boston area experiencing
homelessness or transitioning from homelessness. This is my 8th year
organizing this Holiday Drive for Heading Home, an organization located in
Charlestown dedicated to ending homelessness. With COVID-19, the need is
greater than ever, and I have been asked to find donors for 248 families
this year.

Many donors have reported that past participation has been a meaningful way
to engage their children in giving and demonstrating the importance of
helping others in need. This year’s Drive will be entirely virtual, and I
aim to make donating as easy as possible. Please respond to this email if
you would like to do one of the following:

a. buy a full kit for one or more families. (see below for information
about kits)

b. buy a partial kit for one or more families.

c. Not buy for a specific family, but choose bedding, towels, gift cards,
and/or children’s books to buy.

Once I know what you’d like to do, I will send you the appropriate donor
directions and, if you are buying a full or partial kit, the signup sheet
where you will choose your family or families.

Gifts will be due by Friday, December 3 to give me time to process them
before movers pick them up early the following week.

Please consider making the holidays a little brighter for individuals in
our community. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact
me.

Sincerely,

Kim Jalet

P.S. For updates, follow us on Facebook at

According to their website, Heading Home “provides emergency, transitional
and permanent housing, and support services, to low-income homeless and
formerly homeless families and individuals in the communities of Boston,
Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Malden, Everett and Quincy.”

2021-10-23 Thread Kim Jalet
The Metro-Boston Diaper Drive ends soon, so if you have loose diapers that
you'd like to drop off at my home in North Lincoln, please let me know.
You can also get diapers onto babies who need them by donating via the
Metro-Boston Diaper Drive's Amazon or Target Registries. Links are below,
or visit mbdiapers.org.

All diapers received are donated to the Somerville WIC office, which serves
Lincoln, Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Watertown, Lexington, Bedford,
and Belmont.

We are about 15,000 diapers away from our goal of 60,000 diapers. Please
help if you can!

Warmly, Kim Jalet

2021-10-18 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Neighbors,

I run a big holiday drive for a local organization, and, starting later
this month, I will have quite a lot of packing material to give away. I
will mostly have boxes of all sizes, plastic air pillows, Amazon mailing
envelopes (plastic lined paper and plastic), packing paper.

Please let me know if any of these could be of use to you and you are
willing to pick up in North Lincoln.

Thank you, Kim

[LincolnTalk] Opened Diaper Packages Accepted in Diaper Drive

2021-10-12 Thread Kim Jalet
Just a reminder that the 2021 Metro-Boston Diaper Drive is on. In addition
to donating via our registries (links below), you can also drop opened
packages of diapers off at my home in North Lincoln, and I will deliver
them to WIC. This is a great opportunity for families to get rid of
diapers your kids have outgrown and know that they will be put to use by
families in need. Email me for my address if you have diapers to give.
Regular diapers and pull-ups are welcome!

Thank you for your support of WIC Somerville, which serves Lincoln,
Somerville, Cambridge, Arlington, Watertown, Lexington, Belmont, and
Bedford.

If you donate online using the following links, diapers will be delivered
directly to WIC.

Target:

(note, if Target asks you to choose a zip code for delivery, you can choose
any zip code that comes up and then choose to send to the address in the
registry in checkout so that the diapers go directly to WIC.)

Or visit our website, mbdiapers.org.

[LincolnTalk] Donate Diapers to Families in Need

2021-10-07 Thread Kim Jalet
Dear Neighbors,

Did you know that SNAP and WIC benefits do not cover diapers? This leaves
many families to make difficult decisions between food, diapers, and other
needs. The annual Metro-Boston Diaper Drive, which I coordinate with
Kerstin Sinkevicius, another Lincoln mom, donates all diapers received to
the Somerville WIC office. This office serves Lincoln, Cambridge, Somerville,
Arlington, Watertown, Lexington, Bedford, and Belmont. This year’s Drive
will be entirely online from October 10 - 24. Please visit mbdiapers.org
to make a donation, or click directly on the links to the Amazon
<https://www.amazon.com/baby-reg/kerstin-sinkevicius-kim-jalet-november-2020-medford/1CT4U7NV15QUK>
and Target
<https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift-giver?registryId=ee6b7900-1ed9-11ec-a271-c1ec990cc2cd=BABY>
registries. Please help us get 60,000 diapers onto the babies in the
Metro-Boston area who need them! Read more about why diaper drives like
the Metro-Boston Diaper Drive are so important HERE

[LincolnTalk] Buy Cards Delivered to You from Child to Benefit Local Food Pantry

2021-09-02 Thread Kim Jalet
If you'd like to buy cards from 8-year-old Vivian to raise money for the
local food pantry. We will be printing cards Friday for Saturday delivery
direct to your door. View the card selection by clicking HERE
<https://brian.jalet.org/>. Thank you to those who have already ordered
cards! So far, we have raised $243! To be clear, the website will
continue to be up for all of your blank card needs, but if you would like
Saturday delivery, please order now.

The eco-friendly cards are printed from drawings my daughter created on an
iPad, and every penny spent on cards will be donated to the SVdP of Lincoln
& Weston <https://www.svdplincolnweston.org/>.

These cards will be printed as ordered on an EcoTank printer and on 100%
post-consumer waste paper that are Green Seal Certified
<https://www.greenseal.org/> and produced from wind power. Each card is $3
and comes with a plain envelope.

The fine print:

   - Every dollar raised will be donated; our family has committed to
providing the cost of materials and delivery, up to $1000.
   - We will deliver cards within Lincoln once per week (likely on a
weekend) to maximize the efficiency of our route. Currently, we can only
   accept orders from within Lincoln.
   - Shout out to Hanna Wang of Hanna’s Sweet Creations (
   https://www.facebook.com/hannasweetcreations) whose yummy treats for
charity inspired my daughter’s desire to use her talents for good.

Again, go to the site my husband created to buy cards and support the food
pantry here in town: https://brian.jalet.org/

[LincolnTalk] Newspapers Needed

2021-08-07 Thread Kim Jalet
Good Morning,

Our kitty is having some stomach distress and we are hoping to put out some
newspapers for the "packages" we are finding on the floor each morning. We
don't get a newspaper anymore. Does anyone have a stack of old papers that
they could donate to the cause?

We would like to pick them up Monday.

Thank you, Kim
