UV and Circular Polarizer together?
Hi.. I have a question I hope someone can help me with... I have a Nikkor 28-70 3.5-4.5 and I am going to get a polarizer for it. Currently I have a B+W UV filter on it, but I'm wondering if adding a polarizer on top of the UV will give me the "black rings" on my pictures at 28mm. I do get this when I use to use an old lens hood, but I have since picked up hte correct Nikon hood. So can I use the two fileters together without viginetting? (sp?), Would I need to but a slim/wide angle polarizer?, or am I just outa luck using the two filters together? Does anyone outh there have the same equipment? BTW, what is the viewfinder %% on a N70? Any help would be greatly appreciated. RStephen Winter [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://redshift.home.mindspring.com
Re: N70 topdeck confusing? [v04.n210/20]
I love it. It didn't take too long to get used to it, and after using it on just a few rolls of film, I can get pretty much anywhere it it very quickley. Don't let it scare you off. RStephen Winter [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.accessone.com/~ghwerig
Flash for N70 help...
I'm looking at buying speedlight, but I'm not sure which one would be best... The SB-28 would be ideal, but the cost is quite high. The SB-23 was my next choice, cost is good, but will it do more than the built in one? ($150.00 more?) Does is take advantage od my "D" lenses? In reading the brocedures, the SB-28 mentions the "D" specifically, while the SB-23 doesn't. Additionally, where does the SB-22s fit into the picture, the Nikon website has some info, but it seem a little vague. Is there anywhere I can go to get a detailed comparison of these three? Is there another option? Thanks. RStephen Winter [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.accessone.com/~ghwerig
re:Photo Data Recording Sheet [v04.n198/29]
I created a sheet to fit in a small 4"x7" ring binder. I did it in Excel. It has been added to my web page if anyone wants to take a look at it. It has Mode,Fstop,Shutter Speed, Meter (ie 3d, cw,spot), Foc (wide/Spot), MM lens used and a comments section. I have not used it very much, so if you have any comments/improvements, let me know.
