I also have the same problem. I see unaligned pointer 0x4c12b6ea when
booting. After restarting 2 times I was able to boot grub properly and get
into Debian.

I can concur with Digital5700. My 1TB external drive has no performance
issues, but my 8GB flash drive has trouble getting a 700MB file onto it in
a reasonable amount of time.

I'm not sure what happened, but I can boot up fine now, no hanging on

After boot up /lib/udev/input_id /devices/virtual/input/mice is running at
~99% CPU until I kill -9 it. Doesn't seem to affect anything after I kill
it either.

Another solution would be to have mount.ntfs point mount.ntfs-3g in the
/sbin directory. Also my ntfs-3g is in /usr/bin, not /usr/sbin.
