Public bug reported: There is no icon in my Applications menu on Ubuntu MATE. Going to preferences it doesn't show up either. The .desktop file seems correct so I don't know what is causing this. This occurs on Debian Testing and Unstable too when trying to debootstrap both Noble and Oracular, but not Debian Stable, Testing or Unstable. I **thought** there was a ufs-utils package but I must have dreamt it. There is a kernel module for UFS though. The HAMMER filesystems were never ported anywhere outside of DFBSD that I know of.
