The Galaxy icons look like they are being made to integrate into the new release of OpenSolaris. This may be fine for OpenSolaris users, but most GNOME-based Linux systems are moving towards Tango. If you want to see some progress on this front see Jimmy Mac's Tango OpenOffice page:

Interesting viewpoint, Andre. I know you are just talking about the application/template icons, but you may find this relevant. I've had some involvement with toolbar/menu icons for NeoOffice on OS X. Jakub Steiner [jimmac] has been developing a Tango icon toolbar set for OpenOffice.org.
