As probably not everybody knows: Stella Schulze ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) is the
OpenOffice.org Art Team at Sun Microsystems / Hamburg. She designed
all the present icons, OOoCon logo, wiki logo (wiki.services.OOo) and
additional stuff requested by Sun
The Galaxy icons look like they are being made to integrate into the new
release of OpenSolaris. This may be fine for OpenSolaris users, but most
GNOME-based Linux systems are moving towards Tango.
If you want to see some progress on this front see Jimmy Mac's Tango

Interesting viewpoint, Andre. I know you are just talking about the
application/template icons, but you may find this relevant.
I've had some involvement with toolbar/menu icons for NeoOffice on OS
X. Jakub Steiner [jimmac] has been developing a Tango icon toolbar
set for OpenOffice.org.
