I have started for my needs new ASSPLE project because I have to move
responsibilities to the younger guys (ladies) and will try to give the
m an easier and simpler tool.
It will have mostly the same features as ASSPV1 and look very similar
with reduced options. Testing will only be done on our
Cool!
Will there be effort to reduce the RAM/CPU useage? I've had to revert to 1.5
and 1.7 for my servers as anything later uses all their RAM/swap and makes
them crash. For my tiny mail servers they are more than capable.

Based on my own experience and that of others (looking at the postings
including the current MSGID discussion), I can help but wonder if ASSP
configuration has gotten too complex.
I'm not suggesting we drop features, but maybe the who way it is configured
