[asterisk-users] PJSIP and ARA
Hi This is a bit of an exploratory question for groundwork before I start playing with asterisk 12. I've spotted the very useful looking file contrib/realtime/mysql/mysql_config.sql in the source. Are the table names starting ps_ all to do with PJSIP? Direct MySQL connection has been deprecated for quite a while, will I need to use ODBC for PJSIP or will it be supported by the old res_config_mysql.conf file? As well there is a small wiki page at https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Setting+up+PJSIP+Realtime which details configuring things. Direct MySQL connection has been deprecated for quite a while, will I need to use ODBC for PJSIP or will it be supported by the old res_config_mysql.conf file? The realtime backends have no explicit knowledge of what they are being used with, so any current backend can be used. [asterisk-users] What linux distro most popular for Asterisk
Is there a recent survey of that Linux distro and version people are using for the Asterisk installations? I recall seeing a pie chart over a year ago (I think on a wiki but I can't find it again)also hoping for something more current. I suspect RH5 and RH6 are most popular...but I'm looking for facts -- _ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- New to Asterisk?
