Well, I tried to replace the relay, but the original board is kind of
broken now...ooops
The espresso machine is in Austria working just fine with the new
electronic box, and I am in Sweden during the summer, so I don't see
any reason to to more repairs right now.
Thank you for the support :)

I had the same problem with the delay as described in the first email in
this thread. I'm pretty sure the problem is the relay inside the electronic
box, but I ended up replacing the complete box. Solved my problem. (It is a

I'm teaching myself the cad software Fusion 360 and I just did this
model and printed it on my 3D printer. It works great for the inclined

that is adjusting the water level is broken or
the control box?
The fill up is working in the morning when I turn on a cold machine.
Pump is running for at least 10 seconds when I power on the machine.
How can I fix this?

Hello espresso lovers!
I have an old Brewtus II and a few days ago it started to act
different. It is still working, but I am getting a bit nervous that
this is the beginning of something bad happening to the machine.
I have two symptoms:
1. When I pull the lever to pull a shot, there is a

Hello gurus,
I'm a happy Brewtus II owner and I wonder if it is ok if I ask a
question here about my other machine? I'm lucky to have a summer house
and instead of moving the Brewtus I bought an old Gaggia TS. It has
been working great all summer, but now I have problems every tenth
shot or so.
Problem solved. The E61 kit for ECM that I linked to earlier worked just fine.
Finally a good coffee again :)

Thank you. I have e-mailed the german dealer to see if they know if
the kit will work. They sell other parts for Expobar so I think they
have the knowledge.

Do you think this kit will work with the Brewtus II?

Hello gurus,
Problems with my old B2. I have recently replaced the pump, the OPV
and the brass deairator that comes in the WLL kit (
https://www.wholelattelove.com/products/expobar-vibration-pump-kit ) I
live in Europe so I bought the same parts from a german dealer. The
parts look identical to

You were indeed correct. The AKO thought it was a fridge and not an
espresso machine :P
Up and running now!
I think the new unit is acting a little bit

try this)

I don't have a PID. It's the old AKO, but it's basically the same
procedure. I took pictures and installed the new unit with the same
wiring. Thank's for the tip. I will recheck everything today.

Hello gurus,
My Brewtus 2 (european model) has been a workhorse for many years, but
I guess all good things must end :P
Problem 1: I gotr steam all over the place.I quickly realized that the

Problem 2. The machine was ok for 24 hours
Thank you. Love this group.
I'm relaying your tips & tricks to my brother. I'm pretty sure he will

I'm not a descaler expert, but I have to say the product Durgol (in
the small bottles) is amazing. I also live in an area with hard water.
I use two small bottles each time and the Brutus it is like new after
a descaling session :)
