I'm in California. At the moment, I'm up in the mountains. I've told people
that while my little chi girl and I are in our adjustment period, she may have
to travel with me - she's just spent a month in a shelter. In fact, I'm picking
her up today! They ask - can't she stay outside?

What a haunting image of Molly is left in my mind. If this isn't a reason
to NEVER EVER leave your pets unattended, I don't know what is. Just look
at the damage the hawk did to this little girl, the wounds on poor little

Peggy, about 8 years ago I saw my neighbors Chihuahua get picked up by a hawk,
and then dropped. The Chi was okay, a little shaken up. We also had Owl's too!
One would scope out mine all the time. I was washing my car, and a pigeon was
on the roof above me on the garage and a hawk got it. Heck

sure if it was an eagle or some big hawk, took the dog right out of the
backyard, right next to his brother chihuahua Maleki who could only watch him
fly away with his brother.

cough. The shelter claims it's kennel cough. And I have a prescription they've

I dress both of mine. Started with Dolly (my female) and then when I got my
male he had to have sweaters in the winter. He has a full wardrobe now.
The clothes keep them warm, and also if your chi lays out in the sun, it
does help to prevent skin cancer.

even in the Las Vegas summer heat. I read somewhere that if you put clothes
