Lucky you, Gloria. Mine is a chewer. I can't give her stuffed toys or she'll
rip it apart, make a mess all over the living room with the stuffing and eat
some of the stuffing. She loves old socks and empty plastic water bottles.

I think most dog owners have gone through ruptured anal glans at least once.
My last dachshund, Bob Barker had one rupture and the the other almost rupture.
The vet popped it and drained it. I swore, no more cheap food again. Still,
I am now feeding Iams. I was feeding California Natural
Mickey came from a different shelter. I didn't notice any dogs coughing at the
shelter Mickey came from. Minnie was showing early signs of kennel cough when
we saw her at the shelter. The shelter said they had been giving her meds for
it for 7 days. I don't know about that but after 1 dose
Forgot, thanks for the pumpkin suggestion. One of my dachshunds loved pumpkin
but it gave him diarrhea, so I thought it might with Minnie. What about
chicken stock that has no salt or msg? I could put just enough on her kibble to
moisten it without making it mushy.
