Joe, I've used it around anywhere rope chafe occurs.cockpit coaming leading lines over edges. Traveller lines, etc. I've cit it to size easilyHOWEVER, see the comment on the raised SHARP edges. It needs hard rolled around the edges to keep the corners from lifting.BUT, it does stop

I made some spacers out of 1/4 inch G10, epoxied to the deck, over the old holes, redrilled the hole to fit new smaller deck fills. Painted white. They look good, and water is less likely to leak. I got the idea from Wally. I would post a picture, but right now on the summer boat. Doug Mountjoy C

None of those caps would work on my boat. The thread diameter is different, so the entire unit would have to be replaced. I have never seen a direct replacement for the C one. Everyone who sees them thinks they are a great idea, except for the fact that no one else has them. I always have
