Perhaps if I could figure out how to grab the dmesg output from
initramfs environment, I could then compare the amd64 kernel
output to the 686-bigmem kernel output... :-/

Hi all,
After upgrade to lenny and this linux-image-2.6.26-2-xen-686 kernel. My
Dom0 host is no longer stable. I also encounter random reboot few times
a week. I have just updated to the new security kernel
(2.6.26-15lenny2) to see if it could improve.

According to the comments at the URLs below, CONFIG_IDE_TASK_IOCTL=y is
needed to allow hdparm to issue the Secure Erase command to ATA hard
drives. Please add it to the kernel build configuration.
