I disagree, for what it's worth. In #204202, the problem is with in-
program shortcuts (ctrl+z to suspend current job in Terminal) working in
an unexpected way while here we are dealing with desktop shortcuts
(super+t to launch Terminal) not working. Perhaps the cause is the same

Yes, after setting LC_ALL and the Terminal encoding it sorta works - For
example, Norwegian ø is displayed as \303, and if I try to type å on
the shell it just blinks and displays nothing. But it's probably too

I changed orientation to the bottom on the shell in
~/.gconf/apps/panel/toplevels/panel_0/%gconf.xml and could log in again. After
putting it back to the top, login
this bug is now fixed upstream. the fix for it will be in empathy

Print to file should say Export as PDF instead of Print to File
This bug can be closed, as the upstream bug was rejected.
Rationale is that gstc4l2xoverlay.c is not used and not functional as is.
On short term, for OMAP we are maintaining a derived working version.
On longer term, a working v4l2 plugin will likely be moved to gst-plugins-bad.

Gnome-terminal application uses QWERTY control characters even if I
switch layout to Dvorak. I.e. even in Dvorak layout, I've to press
CTRL-U on QWERTY to kill till the beginning of line. Other applications
like Firefox don't exhibit this
