I believe there is an upgrade issue where you need to reauthenticate in
Settings > Online Accounts after upgrading to gnome-online-accounts
3.49/3.50 (which will happen when upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS).

After having done the below command...
`amixer -c 1 cset numid=3,name='Speaker Force Firmware Load' 1`
Every subsequent reboot the audio never broke. I had multiple 2+ hour
sessions with no issue.
I never re-ran the above command.

Not sure how affected we are. Nightcolor uses geoclue which is disabled
by default and I guess users will have to use the google option when the
time comes ( not necessarily easy, but an option. ) We do not have
location settings in systemsettings.

I think I've figured out why this is happening. If I restart directly
into Ubuntu, then it works correctly and the setting is remembered.
However, if I restart into Unity, then back into Ubuntu, the setting is
forgotten. Perhaps Unity is overwriting the setting?

this is a temporary issue for 24.04 only. In 24.10 (hopefully) we
will drop this current version of magpie and X11 support- so there
shouldn't be any dependency links.

Hi Jeff, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Based on the
crash report provided it looks like it was a bug with the tracker
