Hi list,
is there a wiki page on Struts-Chain?

* Release plans are a good idea IMO and I'd prefer them being a *must*
rather than *may* - since it takes a while to get a release out, its a good
way of communicating where its at.
* I think test builds such as 1.2.5 should be on the aquiring page,
hopefully that will encourage a

Now that 1.2.5 has been built and uploaded, can we now move Struts
dependancy on to BeanUtils 1.7.0 and remove the dependancy on Commons
Collections?
If the answer is yes and there are no objections to doing this, then looks
to me like the following needs doing:
1) Update the dependancies
Currently we have a 1.2.5 build that has no details of whats changed in the
documentation thats included with it. The problem with the way release
notes currently work is that the release-notes.xml contains the current
release - but since a new build (like 1.2.5) is created before its voted on
Perhaps we should just use the release checklist as our guidelines. We could put a

The release process is described by a checklist link, which the Release Manager may
post to the wiki link and use as the basis of the Release Plan.

I wasn't criticising you James - if they had been updated and 1.2.5 never

Just time for a couple of notes this morning.
I'm +0 on JDK 5.0 (nee 1.5) depending on how long we really think this
is going to take. The struts core part of this isn't really huge or
complicated, but asking a Struts developer for a timeline is probably
a silly thing to do :-).
Other comments
I think we want to reward people who are helping us test the non-GA
releases as well, by delinieating the dot-dot changes separately.
That still gives people who want the whole picture what they need:
