I believe there is something wrong in the recent (several months) nouveau
driver. So chances are high that your machine will default to Wayland as
soon as you switch off secondary videochip.

Fedorahosting which is so awful that it should be better to abandon it
completely in favor of something much better (GitHub of self-hosted
GitLab instance maybe)
