these tests are at best, a glimpse of what to expect when connecting with other stations under a variety of conditions; sound card issues aside. I should point out that some of these HF path simulations are severe with enough signal distortion to make one slow to a snails pace, even on CW! Tony

All, Made first Winmor contact with Europe today. Exchanged a few messages with Daniele, I3FUE on 14112.0. Easy connects, clean signals, good throughput. For what it's worth, I run a Dell / Vista with a Realtek sound card; Daniele was using a 2GHz machine with built-in card. Tony -K2MO
