Hi all
I'm on 6m (51.530Mhz) with a Flex 3000 and I am seeing 6m deadband below
the ferquency output on VFO A.
What does this mean and how do I make it use NFM. This is a working
frequency in the UK (bandplan 50-52Mhz).
TIA

Has anyone ever tried this ´thing´ to connect a Flex 5000 to a USB port?

Hi Fred
It isn't compatible. Wish it was though!

According to the 6m bandplan on the ARRL website, 51.5-51.6 MHz is FM
Simplex (6 channels). I have found other band plans online that list
nothing between 51.48 MHz 51.62 MHz. This is one of the frequency ranges
in 6m listed as Deadband in the database. In any event, the text is for
reference
Is there any wa y to program a memory in PSDR with inp ut and output
frequencies for use on repeaters? Also will tones be available to access
repeaters in a future P SDR release?

Subject: [Flexradio] 10 meter repeater memory settings?
Radio is Flex-3000 with Windows XP, PDSR 2.0.22, VSP Manager and DDUtil.
Just abandoned Vcom today and went to VSP Manager and configured DDUtil. I
have Fldigi working perfectly in this environment, DXbase working OK and
Writelog is communicating fine as well. However, I cannot seem to get
Michael,
It takes me some experimentation every time I set up Writelog to do CW so here
we go... this time I get to write it down too!
WL keying is handled without pass through via DDUtil.
You will need two Virtual Serial Port pairs - one for radio control, the other
for keyer control.
My computer does not have a parallel port which I need to get the band
information out to antenna and amplifier switches. I need ABCD info to come
out of the computer when I use my 3K. Has anyone had any luck with this
device?:

Stu,
THANKS!
Worked like a CHARM! The screen shots were very nice and helpful to visually
confirm I was doing the right things.

One thing I would like to comment on a Parallel Port on the newer computers.
Some mother boards actually have a Parallel port on them but NO Cable / DB25
connector output to the case.
I have 3 different computers that have this and I found some cables from
cables to go that plug right into the MB

Bret makes a very good point. This is also true of IEEE ports. If you build
your own computer, check
I haven't seen a motherboard in ages that didn't include headers for a
serial port, parallel port, several USB ports and sometimes 1394. The
problem is that none of them use the same header spacings for the ports,
plus stick them so far away from where the slot strips are on the computer
case that
I agree. Further, check where the headers go. I have a couple of boards
that the header goes to chips that were not installed!!

I don’t know anything about the device you listed but if you check the Flex.WiKi
There is an area for known good parallel printer ports. You are correct not
all of the newer
printer ports will work especially if you are using Windows 7 – 64. Anyway I’m
