Dear Joe,
if you are definitely sure you wouldn't ever need any other radio
and any higher power than your 100 W, the internal tuner could be
a good choice.
If you are seeing changes of radio or power even only in the
distant future, an external tuner is first choice.

I feel that Mr. Lehmann's comments are absolutely sound and, Joe, if I were
in your position I would do exactly as he says. Actually, since I run both

In response to the original question, I found that the autotuners in both

tuners I compared them with.
While it is nice that it can cover from 6:1000 ohms (on the 5000), I was
not pleased with it's speed.

Is there a recommendation for a decent, inexpensive, powered speaker to use

Glad they picked up another excellent bit of software!
As usual, I have managed to break it. After updating PowerSDR, and using

Standard. 2.6.4 2.72 That worked the first time, never more.
I also have 2.4.4, 2.5.3 and selected them, with the same error message.
I tried all 3 using Expect mode, same message.

Have you checked to see if you have the latest setup info?
To update, open PowerSDR-DataTransfer and click on the Options button in
the top right hand corner of the program window.
Click on the button Update Setup Data. You should get a message that
your setup data is not up to date and you

IIRC the internal tuner for the 5K is actually made by LDG or is an LDG
design. Seems like I remember it that way from back when I had my 5K.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't mean it's as
good as an external one though.

I just checked mine and noticed the same thing -- three instances of PSDRDT

The date on the .exe file for PSDRDT was 12/12 which did not correspond to
any of the beta install dates but was probably Ray's last compile.

I am not a beta tester though I had Ray’s old program installed. I have

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling 2.7.2 and PSDR-DT now that you’ve
uninstalled Ray’s version.
That’s what seemed to clear it up for me.

This time all went well EXCEPT the EQ on the Flex 1500 on the new 2.7.2 was
