This may be an impossible task time- and resource-wise (depending on how many
files, etc.) that I recommend below, but ...
1. You may want to also save the files from FM 7 in MIF format. This gives you
the potential for fixing things, and also does a MIF-Wash when you read them
into the latest
You should also grab a copy of the FM2020 version and test with it on a
non-production machine ahead of time with a copy of your FM7 content to test
this all out before committing.

Pretty sure you don't have to uninstall FM7 to install FM2020.
But - back everything up - save off everything as a .mif for extra insurance.
Because you're in the pre-Unicode threshold (FM8 I think it was), your fonts
may be messed up.

Hi, Framers,
We are finally going to bite the bullet and upgrade our nice, stable Frame 7 to
the newest version. Theoretically, an old version of Frame should have no
problems being opened into the newest version. But I have a feeling there may
be problems opening some of our really old files
