Pretty sure you don't have to uninstall FM7 to install FM2020. But - back everything up - save off everything as a .mif for extra insurance. Because you're in the pre-Unicode threshold (FM8 I think it was), your fonts may be messed up. From: Framers on behalf

Hi, Framers, We are finally going to bite the bullet and upgrade our nice, stable Frame 7 to the newest version. Theoretically, an old version of Frame should have no problems being opened into the newest version. But I have a feeling there may be problems opening some of our really old files
