Hallo everybody, I need an advice.
It happens that I have some cans of old negative color stock (Eastman Color
Negative Film 7291, Eastman EXR 100T Color Negative Film 7248, and
something not labelled) that I want to use for painting on it.
I usually paint with watercolors ("Talens Ecoline"),
It states:
"*What's included in the box? *
*• KODAK TRI-X Black & White Reversal Film 7266*"
Now I understand where all that Tri-X Super8 stock is gone...

I'd mention beautiful Amanda Dawn Christie's "3part Harmony: Composition
in RGB #1", one of my favourite. Amanda is on this mail list, I think

I agree with Pip about the use of the adjective "analogue".
However, when I try to explain what I'm doing, or I teach in classes
or workshops with young people, I find myself to use the word
"analogue" too, also because other people I'm working with use it, or
because who's presenting the class
'Neighbours' by Norman McLaren?
'The big shave' by Martin Scorsese is avant-garde enough?

Hallo everybody
I've been happily using a 50ft Lomo tank for years, mine is the "old"
model (UPB-1 - version 1). Now a friends of mine bought the "new"
model (UPB-1A or version 2) and I'm teaching him how to use it.
As some of you probably now, the "new" one has a lower body than the
"old" one

Hi everybody
looking for a certain amount of Orwo UN54 stock in 120m rolls (in
Italy - Europe) about 2 weeks ago (well before x-mas holydays) I wrote
to Orwo, to a couple of addresses I found on filmotec site:
sales_at_orwo_dot_family and filmotec_at_filmotec_dot_de.
Still no answer.

Rolf Wiest in 'Polly' (1969, 16mm, 10min, col.) took to the extreme
consequences this possibility: he projected on 16mm the 4 frames shot on
double-8 and re-shot in double-8 and again and again, 7 time, until having
4^7=16384 images in 1 frame, i.e. 393216 fps. It's a scene of a naked girl

Hallo frameworkers
I have to go to Catalunya to hold a shooting-processing-screening
workshop and I would trust better to use the chemicals I'm accustomed
to (no time to test something else, and no time to buy them there).
So I'm willing to ship myself the needed chemicals in advance:
Thank you
I'm a bit lost about the time of the event.
The live panel is at 7:00 pm Ontario time, so it is 11:00 pm UTC? Am I
correct?
thanks!

You can use the Poor-Man-Looper. My invention, but it works! Here how to do it:
THE POOR-MAN-LOOPER
You need two reels to make the loop, but a third one is very useful at
the end to undo it.
100ft daylight reels for 16mm and normal 50ft reels for 8mm-Super8 work fine.
