i'm still only part way thru my mail queue, but just tried a couple things that maybe will jog something with the list. first, i tried a telnet thought.org and it failed, but only by hanging. then i tried a telnet of ethic by its private ip. was refused instantly:: i cannot cut/paste in ctwm
