I love the large file size that it supports. Freedos is
limited to 2 gigs and PCdos stops a 8 gigs.

I have the hardware driver for my cd and DVD rom drives, when vide_cdd.sys

Well..it goes without saying that I use DOS for all my professional and
personal activities.
Just had a computer put together so I can keep doing this in fact.
It is much harder to get a freedos specific machine built though. Would
love a laptop for example.
