Right now, on the English Wikipedia main page did you know section, is
World Naked Gardening Day:

You will note on the talkpage of the article there's been a vigorous debate
about the choice of image used
I removed it with this explanation:
I've removed the image; I suggest not restoring it (as controversial)
unless it is decided by consensus to be the permanent lead image. There is
no need to have a sub-standard image in the mean time if a better one can
be found (which I think is the case).
If you don't particularly object to that image

then I would suggest you have very poor taste and very little sense of what
an encyclopedia, even an online encyclopedia, should look like.

On April 21, Selena Deckelmann and I will be hosting an edit-a-thon in
Portland, Oregon, based largely on our experiences at the one in San Francisco.
We're making women and technology one of two suggested topic areas (the other
