I found the solution, looking at some closed bug reports. With the budget screen open, I needed to correct the filter settings. View -> Filter By -> Other Tab and select Show Unused Accounts This solved my problem. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully this helps someone else too. > On Jul 29,

Marc, QIF is an ASCCI formatted text file. It's format is described in a Wikipedia article, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicken_Interchange_Fo rmat. It can be edited in a text editor (gedit,xed etc). I would first check the format of your import file out for missing sysntax like missing header

Can any one help me ! I¹ve managed to lose/unable to open all my data ! I updated my Mac OS from 10.6 to ³El Capitan². When I came to open Gnucash I got the message ³Could not obtain the lock for file:///...² on all my files. The update had corrupted the Gnucash files. There were no .LNK or

Dear all, I am a long time user of gnucash and a first time poster on this forum. I find myself stuck between versions. On my desktop (Ubuntu 16.04) I am running gnucash 2.6.17. On my phone I am running the mobile version. I keep the mobile version up to date with whatever the latest version is.

Just an update. I have been converting from LM18.3 to LM 19 on my desktop and didn't have it setup for building GnuCash for the past week which is why I was using the flatpack version. I've just completed building GnuCash 3.2 from sources in LM 19 with all the options and I now see USB sticks
