I uninstalled GC via flatpak and then reinstalled it. No difference.

have. Since some of the problems occurred during upgrades.
As far as upgrading Linux MInt: I did upgrade to a 20:1 awhile back, but
it broke some of my other apps. So I went back to 19.3.
