Hi, What happens if you run Actions -> New Account Hierarchy ?? Although this begs the question: why can't you File -> Export -> Export Accounts and re-use your existing Account Hierarchy? Why rebuild it from scratch? Which begs the next question: Why restart at all? GnuCash has no

Orinth, I am assuming that you are using a computer that has a Windows 10 or 11 operating system. GnuCash works somewhat like Word or LibreOffice. You create one data file. You need to save it with a unique name in a subfolder under your user data folder. It will have all the accounts that the
