This is only an issue on the Mac.. Gnucash on the Mac does not handle the open signal. Part of the problem is that it is an asynchronous signal so gnucash would have to handle it at any time. It could arrive too early or too late in the startup sequence.. All other platforms handle double

I am treasurer of two quite different organisations. I have kept accounts for both using gnucash, but on two different Macs. Now I have only one Mac. Both sets of accounts are primarily held on a USB stick, one for each organisation. Why can I not open the accounts on the USB stick that used to
