They both have their +s and -s, The logging for IMS is very good. Easy to use
in recovery. I thought that CICS was quicker and also had a pretty good log
system. Some of it depends upon the application you are using. I'm a CICS

I ran across this trying to use PL/I programs compiled under z/os 1.5 and run
under z/os 1.9 or 1.10. I had to re-compile

The SPRTREB is the entry I'm writing about. An ipl didn't get rid of it. (Warm

Another thing, If it's anything like the change to Enterprise PL/I, there were
items that used to work that
no longer worked in the newer version because IBM tightened up the generated
code quite a bit. Hal is absolutely right,
the Migration Guide is your friend.
