I've attempted twice to send a particular message to this forum and both
times it has not appeared. It sends fine from my end but then I never see it
show up in the list. I have sent other messages to the list with no
problems, including this one since you are reading it now.
Is there some
the IMAP folder list. The user account I
was testing is cmcfarling and the IP address is 71.65.34.7.

Yesterday I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.22. I have several IMAP folder setup for
one of my accounts. I also have several rules setup to direct incoming
messages, from newsgroup lists for example, into various folders. After the
upgrade I noticed that I wasn't receiving any messages in my inbox. After
if thats a factor.
I completely wiped out all Sent mailbox files and created a new one but the
problem persits. I've tried the Entourage database rebuild but no luck there
either.
I'm leaning toward the idea that Entourage is the problem but who knows.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Is there a way, in either v 7.x or 8.x, to strip attachments from messages
that are forwarded by IMail? For example, I have my account set to forward
all messages to my cell phone, while keeping a copy in my inbox also. The
problem is, when a message with an attachment gets forwarded to my
I haven't seen any more on this the last couple days. Eric S., was the super
debug log info helpful at all? Is this issue still being looked into or is
it being written off as an anomoly?

OK this is interesting. Without making any changes from the setup

Guess so. I'll give it a shot.

Didn't this just get 'patched' via 7.12 ?

Yes, I do have two addresses in the SMTP DNS address field. (separated by a
space) I tried your suggestion of using only 1 address, but it did not make
any difference. Still get the same sequence of entries in the log.

Chris,
This sounds like you have multiple addresses
\spool\Qc85d020200c8f6c2.SMD
R0 T1
07:30 10:10 SMTP-(0718) finished C:\IMAIL\spool\Qc85d020200c8f6c2.SMD
status=3

I still think there is a DNS issue here due to the stack connect fail
message. What is the IP address of the DNS server you are using right now?

Right now the SMTP DNS Adress field is set to 63.85.233.135. Originally it
was set to 63.85.233.135 63.85.233.136 (without quotes of course). As
per
you last suggestion I removed the second address. The system TCPIP
settings
are currently pointing to those same two addresses
. I'm using
v7.10. Anyone noticed this same behavior?

Apparently Outlook Express has an undocumented feature that allows you to
click the send button multiple times. With each click it appears that
nothing is happening, and before you know it you've sent the same message 3
times.

Yep, those are the ones. However, you must stop the WebMessaging service in
order to delete them.

We've been seeing this problem quite often too.
Does anyone know if Ipswitch is aware of this problem and if they are working on
a fix?
As far as I know, the only workaround is to stop
the web messaging service and delete the .tmp file. Is there a "not so
disruptive" workaroun
of the destination account, a sub-mailbox is created. This problem has been
noted with tech support and hopefully they are working on a fix.

Exactly, my wish is to keep my IMail server in place. And yes Serge, I
agree, if I can't get things working where my users can still send and
receive mail through my IMail server, the next best solution would be to use
the NMS as the outgoing server.
Sandy, you mentioned that this could be done

I have a situation where I need to set up a one-way peer from my IMail

Damn. No way what-so-ever huh? I even called Ipswitch tech support today and
