Scott,
I think you are SOL if you are running virtual domains. I called
Ipswitch about this awhile back and they told me the reason it doesn't
work is a FEATURE or Imail? Like that's how it should work?? The logic
baffles me, but the fact is if you are using virtuals you can't limit
storage.
This program is quite nice. I like the fact that it outputs to html, but
there might be problems with that. In one case the html file was 30+
MB's, which IE didn't like too much.
The only complaint I have is it is pretty slow. I'm parsing a 130 MB log
file, pretty common size for me, and it has
Just an FYI,
I Recently upgraded a mail server that was having problems with both
WebMessaging and SMTP to Raid 5. Also added a 4th drive for swap and

the machine.
Now just to tackle the problem of enforcing IMAP storage
Pretty good idea, but I doubt it works all that well. Have there been
any tests in a real world environment? I like the idea that all UCE has
to have ADV in the subject line, wouldn't that be great?

Has your problem been solved?
Last question, what defrag software did you use that identified how

Defragging the drive, cleaning up mailboxes over 100MB's and tripling
the swap file size seems to have worked. I noticed that a few single
mail boxes were fragmented over 1,000 times, before the defrag. I'm sure
that can't be good.
Thanks for all the support on this List. You guys rule!!
I tried putting a spool folder on a second drive/controller and it never
really worked. I was still getting files and logs writing to the old
spool folder. It never seemed to completely move over to the second
drive and constantly had problems. I ended up just switching it back to
the default.
The suggestion for increasing the swap/page file size was made by
Ipswitch. They also told me to double the memory from 512 MB's to 1 GB,
which makes no sense because the server only uses about 200 MB's at any
given time.

The service doesn't die, it just uses 100% CPU in my case. I Called
Ipswitch which didn't help, they basically blamed it on the Classic

user mailboxes that are over 100MB's in size.
Hopefully this will fix the problem.

I recently did a defrag analysis on a Win2k 7.05 HF1 mail server and saw

One option is to add a second drive and place the spool

Has anyone reported this problem to IPswitch?
