Heh this is so funny, I too have this same problem. The other say I got sick of it and wrote a stupid script that checks to see if the service is down. If it is stopped, it starts it back up. Just stick it in your favorite task scheduler. I'm so nuts I actually wrote it in VBScript and JScript.
