So you're probably right about the intent. Nevertheless, the
possible managerial objection to
using JSP. ("Waddaya mean, my web designer has to learn Java!? She
already knows JavaScript ... maybe we should be using ASP instead.")

Either way, troubleshooting on their site must suck, though I suspect they
have a pretty-print routine for converting that to something readable.
