Folks I’ve been replacing fluorescent lights with led tubes … I buy 3000k temperature which are yellow warm rather than the colder 4000 and 5000 kelvin The tubes I get take 110 volts at each end so you end up cutting out the ballast … I usually just leave them in place …. And then rewiring

I don’t think some of the HF lights have switches on them, so be sure to check if that’s a requirement. I say that because I bought one last year to replace an old double tube fluorescent fixture above the washer and dryer in the western manse and didn’t realize there was no pull chain on it

I am sensitve to strobing/scanning at 60Hz or below. Back in the days of CRT computer screens I had to set a fast refresh rate or I'd get a headache looking at what I percieved to be a rapidly flickering screen. Flourescents in pairs don't bother me (I presume they are wired in opposite phase)
